this is the third call i've been on this year revolving around a toaster. here's a psa, and especially to you college kids: use your toaster as intended. it's not there for grilled cheese, not there to light cigarettes, and don't lay them on their sides, kay?

But you're right. I prefer the versatility of toaster ovens, so I guess this was never actually a problem for me after all.
