this is the third call i've been on this year revolving around a toaster.
here's a psa, and especially to you college kids: use your toaster as intended. it's not there for grilled cheese, not there to light cigarettes, and don't lay them on their sides, kay?
smart talk aside, a fire's a fire, to be honest. there's a lot of things can turn into a right mess in an instant.
there's not many of the big ones around here. all but one of the ones i've been in were drills. sure, not everyone's cut out for it, but it's not like the department throws you in green, either. you've gotta go through a lot of training.
It's a good thing there's no big ones around here. I get you, though. Staying trained up and constantly doing drills keeps you ready for if something really does go down.
well, not like i've got much choice in the matter. it's not just my life at risk. i can be reckless all i want long as it's just my head on the line. the moment others get mixed up? i don't get to slack off.
Up on the military base it's all about working together because the moment someone decides to slack off or not work with the team is when someone gets hurt or worse case, dies

i can't believe i'm lecturing someone about this but read the manual if you've never used it before.

I'm guessing you're a firefighter or something then?

I commend you on battling fires, friend, not a lot of people can handle that kind of stress
you know the real fires
not toaster fights
