I had to take home ec in school, and that's one of the first things they taught us about appliances: read the instructions and follow them.

Wouldn't it be more like millions of toasters? That brings the stats of toaster fires up a lot.

i'm afraid i don't know that one

try being a firefighter some time. after that training they put you through, it's hard not to treat your home like a bomb

but that kind of risk's always been there, you know? chances are nothing bad's happened so far. just do what you always do and cut the stupid shit out when you find it
