That's a given. I want people to be surprised when Tiamat comes on the screen and not from just being shocked by the size of them.

We are. I have to watch out for the scales, he has to be careful about triggering my kill mode, so we're kinda doing the old boy shuffle block block jab thing.

that doesn't sound like it's very effective...though I can understand not wanting to do anything too drastic

maybe you could use training dummies? Or find someone at the monthly fight club to spar with instead of each other?
