So... it's been two days and I think I've calmed down a bit. I've spoken to a couple of people about it, but I'd like to know if anyone else has had to deal with this. I know on this app people have acquired entire languages, such as Japanese and Russian, however, I have yet to come across someone who has received an entire accent.

I am originally from England, but once I moved to America I completely lost it and I've been speaking with an American accent since... until now I guess.

[Derek pauses for a second before speaking again.]

Bloody hell, please tell me I'm not the only one who has had to deal with this?

[Derek attempts to speak in an American accent but comes out horribly with a really bad southern flair to it.]

I can't even do a proper American Accent anymore!

[Derek reverts back to his English accent.]

Well. Yes. Then again, I have memories from him as a kid all the way up to around my age, and all he does is get colder.

It's just in CS. Figured since I was already in college I should see the whole thing through, and it got me out of the house and away from marriage meetings.

You might as well call us that. It's normal for chaebol to have arranged marriages with the dowry being parts pf the company, especially when it's a daughter of the Group.

[It took Derek a few extra minutes of message back because he had to look up the meaning of 'chaebol'.]

Well, there are a lot of women in my social standing I could meet and date and maybe fall in love with, but considering how we are usually pawns in making our companies stronger, love doesn't always calculate into the ledger.

Love should always be considered. You make it sound like all they want is for you to help make the next heir.

Run the business, make sure there's heirs to pass it on, make more money, and make the ancestors proud. That's pretty much how it is.

Are you even allowed to date? Since you are over the part of the company in America, does that mean your parents are in South Korea? Couldn't you just... date who you want without them knowing?

Dating? Oh sure. I love dating. I just don't let it get more serious than a few nights here and there unless they're at a level Father can accept.

What in the world? That's just... I'm not even sure how to react anymore.
