as many of us are aware, the senior class at recolle high school will be graduating soon, and well....
i am part of that class!
i guess because of this fact, i have been thinking that it is maybe time for me to be a bit more independent than i have been, and find a job
this is pretty easy in theory but i find that there is a problem that is maybe not much of a problem to some people but it has been giving me something to think about lol
namely, i do not know what to expect and how difficult getting my first job will be :o
if you have advice, i would definitely like to hear it!!!!
on the other hand, i would like to know what your first job was like, as a blanket sort of thing

It's a ton of hard work, and none of it is really any fun.
But if you're looking for a good job
It's really about who you know.

i dont think its overrated in the least
eventually everyone becomes independent in their own way, and im sure theres a lot of fun to be had once youve made your own way!
i was kind of hoping it would be more based on my skills, though i admit i dont even know what id put on my resume
i help out at the shelter but its not really a job, is it?

how else would you remember your friends unless they were their own person, set apart from the others?

Unless your skills are readily apparent, a business isn't going to give you the time of day.

people are people, theyre not like fruit, they all have something to offer to companies
maybe not to every company but certainly some companies would find something worth it in them

i dont have experience but my academics should be impressive, as well as what skills i list
not having work experience doesnt mean you dont have experience at all

i am taking college classes as well!
i had to purchase textbooks for some of those classes
i am doing both, it is a little hectic but very rewarding :)
