hello, everyone! :)
as many of us are aware, the senior class at recolle high school will be graduating soon, and well....
i am part of that class!
i guess because of this fact, i have been thinking that it is maybe time for me to be a bit more independent than i have been, and find a job
this is pretty easy in theory but i find that there is a problem that is maybe not much of a problem to some people but it has been giving me something to think about lol
namely, i do not know what to expect and how difficult getting my first job will be :o
if you have advice, i would definitely like to hear it!!!!
on the other hand, i would like to know what your first job was like, as a blanket sort of thing

ummm, so i guess to make this more concise, i have a few questions!
what was your first job?
what was getting it like?
would you recommend it to someone looking for a first job?

my first job was the one i got here when i moved to recolle
i work in the arcade in tisse
uh
the smaller one with the dumber name

it could be worse
truth be told i hate the kind of people we get in usually but
the pay's good and the person who runs it is decent

youre mostly breaking cash for coins selling junk food and making sure noone vandalises anything so it can be slow

well, it sounds like its balanced enough for you to keep it, so i think its a good job
do people vandalize things often there??? ive never seen it!
i would have never though people do something like that
of course, bathroom stalls are one thing but... actual equipment??? does that happen????

don't underestimate teenagers
guys love showing off and there're girls out there who'll egg them on to pull stuff like that
it's mostly to see if they can get away with it without being noticed

well, thats more than a little bit rude, isnt it!
i hope it doesnt happen very often, it must be a chore and a half to clean up
if i ever see someone doing something like that there, i will definitely stop them
its just unacceptable to deface property like that

yeah
i mean, some of the machines we have here don't get made anymore
one of the main selling points is some of the games are pretty old
you won't find them in the big arcade by the boardwalk

so i doubt they realise we can't just replace them
then again i guess they wouldn't care? that's just how it is at that age

but i understand that it is probably just very tiring dealing with hooligans all day long
i do not think they know you cant just replace them but unfortunately i dont know how i would help them not do that
it is so strange to me that people would vandalize something that isnt theirs to vandalise
its so incredibly disrespectful
i hope you do not have to deal with it often

nah it's not that often
most of the time it just looks like someone is up to no good but they don't actually do anything
so at most we've had a bunch of schrodinger's vandals
it's hard to tell if they don't do it because we keep a closer eye on things now

to get back on topic
idk if it's something that'd interest you
but i can keep an eye out for positions if you want
it isn't exciting work but it's a good first job
