so... i was sick the past week and my cat snuck out several times without me knowing. he ended up bringing an assortment of socks and underwear from around the city. sorry. if you recognize anything that belongs to you, you can come get it. i promise he usually doesn't do this when he's out. again, sorry. i played a tune (loop stations are great) to heal the hearts of those who lost their undergarments last week. i hope it helps.

Also, you can assume that the black and white cat slipped into your place somehow and snatched your undies/socks. The picture does not convey the kitty's heist. [Goro takes it out fully, opening the box and feeling his cheeks grow warm at the sight of the gift; it was embarrassing buying it, it's embarrassing seeing it now, and if he hadn't made such a fuss about it in this moment he'd probably back out of giving anything in the first place.

Whatever it is is small and virtually weightless, metallic to the touch. It's fairly easy to guess it's a necklace with some investigation, and if Akira opens his eyes he'll see it's got half a heart as its charm. The necklace has a certain old-fashioned feel to it.]

[There's a lot he wants to say, like how he knows guys don't really wear stuff like this, that it's sort of a stupid gift that he's not even sure Akira would like, it'd be fine if Akira didn't wear it because it's not like it's sentimental or anything

but he doesn't, playing with the chain of his own necklace.]

[ He can feel the cold metal in his hands, but he doesn't go as far as to appraise it with his own fingertips just yet. He waits for it to be completely deposited before he cracks one eye open, now hovering over it with bright curiosity and elation. [ Holding it out in front of him, he lets the charm dangle within eye level, turning it around to get a better view. When he's done, he holds it out to Goro. ]

[He'll crouch down again, setting his own aside to take Akira's. It's easy to put on, and Goro smooths it out gently. Still sort of abuzz with a nervous sort of energy mingling with his happiness.]

It wasn't my first choice, but it was the one I kept returning to, if that makes sense? And, um, you can wear it under your clothes if you'd prefer. Since it's a little girly. Though I suppose that doesn't really matter to you.

I enjoy relatively simple things. Handmade is my favorite, which is why I like food so much, but I like little trinkets in general too.

[ Yes, very much. That is definitely all right—there's a lopsided smile as he nods. After a second or two, he tumbles down onto Goro with a loud noise accompanying it. He is not light, but at least there's a cushiony surface below? ]

I do want to go check out an Indian restaurant, though. That would be great.

[ A sad... Pitiful dream that won't come true (maybe), but let him dream. He gets comfortable as he envisions the month of snow. ]

But I don't see why we shouldn't bring holiday cheer to others. What about bringing the ghost of Christmas' past, present, and future to a friend or two? Silver gets awfully prickly during this time of year.

Does he have a problem with the holidays? I'd like to change that, if I can. I've always found them a wonderful time of the year. My second favorite after fall.
