Hello! You know, when I was a kid I always wanted to get horseback lessons? I never got those, but I did learn to code, so that's pretty cool. Anyway! We've been working on horses a little, although mostly it seems like we'll be pouring hours into taste, which seems to be a result of the outside destabilization? Balancing spinning tops is always kind of a headache. I hope some of you found those loopholes! There's some of those bats in here, too, and I've been carrying things around to fend them off all week. Some people keep herding them into heavily populated areas in the building, though. What a pain! Joanne Wiseman Technician 2nd class Retr ![]() As of this post taste tier 1 has been icly regained; it includes grains. Also as of this post, horses are now recognized in fictional books, games and movies. This is extended to merchandise as well such as the world-equivalent of My Little Pony.
Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. |

Haha, maybe you should just say you know how to ride chocobos?
I mean, they're likely not gonna check right....?
no subject
maybe I'll just say 'riding'.

Are chocobos and horses really that different? I mean, besides one being a bird...
[City boy only has basic idea how farm animals work okay.]

Why do legs number matter for pack animals?

There's more support.
I don't think ostrich farmers use them as pack animals ever...
[He may be full of it. Or right, but still full of it.]

Oh! Do you mean "pack" as in carry stuff? I thought you meant pack as in a group pack. I guess there's some logic to that.

Stuff like horses and
I guess chocobos, probably?
Are herd animals. Pack animals have a linear hierarchy with an alpha male, Herd animals don't, beyond sometimes having a single leader. They just travel and live in groups.
