Hello! You know, when I was a kid I always wanted to get horseback lessons? I never got those, but I did learn to code, so that's pretty cool. Anyway! We've been working on horses a little, although mostly it seems like we'll be pouring hours into taste, which seems to be a result of the outside destabilization? Balancing spinning tops is always kind of a headache. I hope some of you found those loopholes! There's some of those bats in here, too, and I've been carrying things around to fend them off all week. Some people keep herding them into heavily populated areas in the building, though. It's not just the gingerbread. It's not being able to taste literally anything anymore! I can't even enjoy curry like this. It's pissing me off!

[She can probably just hear him if he were yelling this. (He probably is, at his phone as he replies, even.) Complete with his angry flailing in frustration at the situation.]

Then don't eat your favorite food until we get our senses back. Where is your sense of adventure Yuu? Have you even tried to eat your most hated vegetables yet?

Who knows how long that could be though? And no.
This still isn't making me try some of those vegetables.

Why not? They no longer taste bad!
Impress your dad by eating them for once.
I mean, it'll get him off your back, won't it?

Taste, maybe but if I still hate the texture,
that won't change. And no, I doubt it would because I'd still not eat what I don't like once taste was back anyway. He's pretty used to my preferences by now though. It's been four years.

Texture? Are you serious?
Yuuichi, you're a big kid now! Stop being such a fussy eater! It ain't cute anymore.
Just eat your veggies while you can to get the vitamins and fiber you may be desperately missing in your diet!
You're body will be grateful for the favor.
Who knows? Maybe it'll make your favorite food taste 10x better once our tastebuds return from vacation.

I never said anything about being cute. If I don't like something, I don't like it. I can get vitamins or whatever from other food I do actually enjoy eating.

And curry is already the best. It is already amazing so it doesn't need help from this thing messing with our tastebuds.

Are you sure? I could've sworn you were! With how shy you can be. But, I guess you're more prickly than shy now. You found a way to make it more subtle now. Good job on growing up!

Can you make curry or are we talking about dad's cooking? Also, you're not off the hook about this! You really need to eat everything, Yuuichi. How else will you eat military rations if you're so picky?

And I can cook. Some basic meals or whatever but curry really isn't that hard. I'm not that picky either. Not compared to some others. I just have my favourites is all. Everyone does.

You'll have to make dinner for me someday! I wanna taste your cooking before I can sent you off. Uh-huh. Aren't you complaining about not wanting to eat your vegetables though? Are you saying you'd eat those if it was in your rations?

I know some basic dishes I guess. If you really get that hungry to come to me for food.

I'm saying it depends on the vegetables. Some I don't prefer but don't mind eating either but some are just bleh.
