Has anyone here formed an opinion on their past (or other) self? Is it positive or is it negative? If negative, how do you deal with it?

The problem with forcing an opinion on someone is that you may actually ignore what made them that way. They had a completely different life with a different way of viewing the world. Forcing them to fit in the world that you view is only going to cause trouble later on.

That's true. However, there are some things that are terrible no matter what their past was. For example, getting hired to kill someone.

It might be terrible, but do you know why that person is being hired? Do you know why the person they are after was marked for death?

Do you think that there are people that deserve to die?

I think that we cannot know the whole story within what returning memories we get. It isn't as if we are watching a show that has all the background laid out for us.

I guess.

[ but it's still a bitter pill for him to swallow. for him, life is something that's way too precious for someone to take it away prematurely. ]

Look, I understand that it's wrong, but I can't also condemn someone in the past over something that happened to them or they ended up doing because it can't be changed now. It's the past. It happened. All we can do now is head towards a future and make sure we don't fall into that same place as they did back then.

[ yeah. yeah, he's right. logically, yoon-sung is absolutely right. however odasaku can't help but mentally shrink away when actually being told to do this.

one thing is seeing other people do it and another is doing it himself. he doesn't feel capable of doing something like that so easily, unfortunately. ]
