Has anyone here formed an opinion on their past (or other) self? Is it positive or is it negative? If negative, how do you deal with it?

You can say that again. The guy acts first and asks questions later, and can’t handle it when there are consequences for it. I don’t like him one bit.

Maybe he'll get better in the future.

Hard to say when you can’t tell exactly what order you’re remembering things in, isn’t it? As far as I can tell, he’s only been stupid in different ways the more I see of him.

Yeah, that's annoying. Makes it even harder to have an opinion of our past selves.

Tell me about it. These Retrospec people make out like they're trying to do us a favor, and they can't even give us a good timeline? Some help they are.

They're good for some things. Bad for others. This is one of those things they're bad at.

Yeah? And what good do they do?

[odasaku]

Not much. But they try.

I’ll have to take your word for it, then. As far as I can tell, they’ve been nothing but trouble since this whole thing started.

I think they're trying to do something good but not doing it the right way. Maybe.

Well, even if they are, "trying" isn't getting us anywhere. You know what they say, right? "The road to hell is paved with good intentions?" Seems to me like we're already there.

That's true. But there's not much we can do but prepare for the worst.
