Has anyone here formed an opinion on their past (or other) self? Is it positive or is it negative? If negative, how do you deal with it?

I asked if you had formed an opinion on your past self and whether it's positive or negative. Since you don't want to acknowledge it, I'm guessing your memories are negative? I might be wrong, though...

ive never met anyone who's actually happy with the memories they've gotten so far though
so yeah im with the majority here

I met a couple, thanks to this question. And I also had one memory that made me happy.

that's just one happy memory amidst all the horrible bad ones
it doesn't really change the fact that most if not all of us came from pretty fucked up worlds and have tragic sobstories as a result

You're right, it doesn't. But people use those pasts to try and become better people in the present, or at least that's what I've read.
