I don't know... That's what I'm trying to figure out.

It's not like they could solve anything in another universe or world but I still feel like I probably shouldn't tamper with it? Like what if it becomes important?

Anything Retrospec gives people could be a murder weapon. By that reasoning, no one should touch anything. But sometimes their utility outweighs how much I care.

I remembered that someone was murdered by a knife just like this back in my world.

Yeah, using mass produced knives is smart. Harder to trace purchaces.

Whoever did it, I'm not sure if they purchased the knife. The murderer, victim, my classmates, and I were all trapped in a school so I don't think we could have gotten in or out with anything.

Knifes in the home ec classroom would have been purchased in bulk. But if there was a mass stabbing in a school, there may have been more incriminating evidence than just the murder weapon. Security camera footage, first person accounts. The police might not need the knife.

I don't remember much more asides from finding the body of my classmate so I don't know any more details regarding that, but I remember someone trying to also kill me with a knife. It was a different knife, it had a jagged blade, but it might have been the same person.

I truly hope that it was just one person doing all this than multiple.

Sounds serious. Maybe you should hang onto the knife instead of putting it in the mailbox where it could potentially be sent back.

I suppose, but then would it really matter if it goes back to the other world? I mean, all these memories we're getting back are of some "past" other life, right? So wouldn't sending it back just mean it'd be sent back after everything is done and over?

They’re not but assuming that Retrospec is telling the truth, the worlds we’re from are all destroyed. So wouldn’t sending the knife just kind of... float around in space or something?

What if it can be used in space? Like by a cute shiba inu that came from Retrospec and fights with knives? For example.
