If Retrospec gives you an item that you suspect is a murder weapon, what do you do with it? Should it be turned into the police or do you just keep it somewhere...? And what if you accidentally already got your fingerprints all over it...?

Seeing as most people manage to go most of their lives without finding a murder victim, I'd say that's understandable based on that alone.

Yeah... I'm a little afraid of whatever else Retrospec is going to send me from my past life if this is only the second item they've ever given me.

Was the first at least somewhat less awful?

It was a door plate? There's some Japanese writing on it (I can't read it) and it has a sprite of me? Or at least I think it's supposed to be me.

Not really...? I don't really remember anything involving it so it kind of came out of nowhere.

I just decided to hang it on my bedroom door for now.

You do have my sympathy for the rest of the...well, everything, however. Hopefully it moves upwards from there.

The world's most questionable makeover, and some makeup to match it sometime later. The knowledge that my life is some sort of cosmic joke? Otherwise, not particularly.

Yeah, a lot of people's appearances are changing.

We're starting to look like anime or video game characters, to be honest. My hair colour is normal but it got really... spiky? And some of my friends are getting strange colours like purple and white.

Mine went lavender on me, and grew about a foot in length as well. The same morning I also found that my eyes had turned bright red.

Not precisely my idea of a good time; I work in law, and would quite prefer not looking like I'm going through some awkward teen rebellion stage.

Maybe you can dye it? And there are coloured contact lenses, but if your hair is a foot long now, it'd be really annoying to constantly redye it every month or so.
