If Retrospec gives you an item that you suspect is a murder weapon, what do you do with it? Should it be turned into the police or do you just keep it somewhere...? And what if you accidentally already got your fingerprints all over it...?

Sure. I'll probably be putting it back in the mailbox later today or tomorrow? So I'll let you know the results after I find out.

... though I've been told that it's safe and also that the inside of the mailbox is "really dark"?

And yeah, it's supposedly safe as long as you don't try to put anything that wasn't originally placed in there by Retrospec in it. Otherwise, firecrackers and grenades would probably be going into it all the time. However, that description sounds pretty ominous... [ all the more reason bakhura isn't the one who's gonna be testing it, tbh!! ]

Are we sure it doesn't take Retrospec users, too? Or won't in the future?

What do you mean by taking Retrospec users? You mean trying to actually go into the mailbox??

If it's as dark as people are saying, then it has to lead somewhere, right? Is it possible to reach the back of the mailbox with your bare hands, or is it just an endless void?

I don't know. I didn't try putting my arm into the mailbox...

But a friend of mine put in his talking rabbit back into the mailbox and when he took him back out, the rabbit said that it was just "dark". I don't think he was allowed to move anywhere.

From your friend's... rabbit's description, it sounds like it's just a really big mailbox on the inside... but at the same time, if his rabbit couldn't move, then something else must be at play. Some magic or a force field, possibly.

At least, that would be my first guess.
