In one of my memories, there as a case within which I contained some number of dangerous items, as a precautionary measure. It seems that case would be well-suited to our purposes.

It does seem like that, doesn't it? It's a risky move to play the role of a villain. They would have to have some ulterior motive for acting in such a way, unless they truly are malevolent and are overconfident in the power that they hold over us.
