TEXT ♞ IT WASN'T ME, MA

If Retrospec gives you an item that you suspect is a murder weapon, what do you do with it? Should it be turned into the police or do you just keep it somewhere...? And what if you accidentally already got your fingerprints all over it...?

... hypothetically asking.

[ ichi, a question from me to you: is the blood on the knife still pink.... ]

I suppose I can't fault you for thinking that, but now we know curiosity killed the cat and handed you the murder weapon.

It makes you sound highly suspicious. It's likely why so many people have asked you if you're a murderer outright.

[ please lmk once you get a definitive answer because i too think it's important ]

Hindsight is 20/20.

The mystery deepens. Either your other life is complex enough that it made Retrospec's systems glitch, this is something new that Retrospec incorporated and implemented, or it still somehow fits within the parameters. How sure are you it isn't yours? It's possible it could be your knife, but someone else tried to use it to frame you.

[ A vampire who has a stomachache will come straight for him.

Clover is awed from this description that Naegi didn't think he was being framed. ]

That sounds like a complete set up.

Were you that hated, or were you that gullible?

[ Or was he an idiot? Clover wants to bet on these last two options. ]

[ CLOVER'S A BULLY OUT OF CONCERN (?), PROBABLY. chiyo would never believe naegi could be a murderer and would try to help him any way she could, and she was judging him more for what he was spending than his luck nonsense. ]

That's a frank assessment of yourself. It's prudent to have that kind of self-awareness. I don't think it's wrong to think good of other people, but if you're accepting to the point that people would plant murder weapons on you, it's obviously become a problem.
