Well mostly because he's stupid.

So when 6pm rolls around, Noah is coming around the corner. It's a kid that maybe Ryoga's seen in the halls at school the past few weeks. Some new kid from the UK with a prosthetic arm and a constant expression like he swallowed a bug. And sure enough, that's the expression he has now as he comes near. When he gets close enough, he stops- and looks Ryoga right in the face.]
