With all this business going on, some frivolousness ponderings might be an enjoyable distraction.

Well, then. If you could wish for anything, what would it be? [ A pause. Kei thinks of sending it like that yet he feels that may be too telling. Too telling of what? He's uncertain, but adds more to cover up his uncertainty. ] Though, with Valentine's Day is coming, most are thinking of just wishing for someone to spend that day with, hm? :)

They're aren't terrible. The mayor is presently missing along with a few other people. Though, when I say missing, I mean that I'm fully aware as to where he is and it seems like only those with the app are aware and can save them. Also, love is in the air -- with violent explosions of rose petals and body disfigurements.

Yes, our pupils are morphing into heart-shapes. Also, sometimes our emotions are going haywire. People that we feel amicable toward are treated harshly and even maliciously to.

I agree. I would not wish to treat anyone badly. And even if you can give an apology about it, even if it is understood that those were not your real feelings, if things were different, if somehow a schism was created, what was said could become real.

I'm uncertain if he did go look out for the mayor. But the two of us did speak. We spoke on love, of all things, and so I'm not thinking he is going to risk his life so recklessly.

That is something to be quite proud of. The rest is just experience, and no one should look down on another due to not having as many life experiences as another. Especially given that we shall be receiving experiences from other lifetimes.

Oh, no, I haven’t felt that way from any of our conversations. It’s mostly people asking me if I have a date for Valentine’s Day, and then I end up admitting that I’ve never been in a date, or kissed anyone, or anything like that.

Still rest assured, Atsushi. You're doing a great favor for me. The fact that he opened up to you means that he's relieving some of the stress built up. And it would seem like you understand why I asked you for it in the first place.

That is not lip service. I could send any number of negative messages to Howard, but without me being there, I cannot guarantee their effectiveness. Howard really dislikes that town and its people. [ He smiles at nothing in particular as the writes those words. ] You have to choose, then. You have to choose to save the lives of the people that you may never see again, or the happiness of someone that you felt sympathy for. The happiness of one over the lives of others.
