We haven't heard anything, and none of the people who were taken seem to know either.

I'm sure I didn't. There were areas where I was more of a hindrance than anything else,
and it was very much a group effort.

I think it already has a name. It was on the ticket and that's why I didn't realize it was a horse.

It appears to be male.

Or your tastes run a little too hot for even a mapo tofu shop owner.
Either way, he is your horse.
If you don't quite like the name, you can choose something better.

It's... different and not.

My first name, Kenta, is written 剣太 in kanji, and it basically means 'big sword'.

My other self's name is Taroutachi. It's written 太郎太刀 and it means... well, 'very big sword'.

Not identical, but extremely similar.

I am merely letting you know that a name is important, yes.
But just because it's something you've been called for a long time doesn't mean that is the name you have to stay with, if you want to change it.
The same with the horse.

The thing is, I don't really think it's my horse. I think it belonged to someone who let me use it, but it's not really mine.So it's not really my call to change the name.

I think so. I'm taking him to the stables now and will discuss it with management there once I get him a space.

To put plainly, it is to ease a sense of shame I have.
I hadn't wanted to help save the mayor or the others kidnapped.
I hadn't wanted to be involved in it.

I used you as a convenient excuse to allow me to not be involved.
If anyone asked me why I did not do more, I could say that someone far better than I had told me I would only get in the way.
I still believe you to be the better man.
But I used your words spoken with righteousness to be my excuse and umbrella to remain uninvolved.
As such, I owe you a debt even if you do not see it.
