.... What?
Kenta Ooshima shared a photo.
26/02 near Retrospec Mailbox... Exactly what am I supposed to do with this?
Does anyone here know about horse care?

I'm sure I didn't. There were areas where I was more of a hindrance than anything else,
and it was very much a group effort.

You're exceptionally humble, Kenta.
But if you say it is not because of your efforts, I will relent.
Still a horse, huh?
Before worrying about how to care for it, why not name it? Her? Him?

It appears to be male.

Or your tastes run a little too hot for even a mapo tofu shop owner.
Either way, he is your horse.
If you don't quite like the name, you can choose something better.

If if it's name, I probably won't change it. It must be used to its name, after all.

By the by, speaking of names, do you know if yours different from your past self?

My first name, Kenta, is written 剣太 in kanji, and it basically means 'big sword'.
My other self's name is Taroutachi. It's written 太郎太刀 and it means... well, 'very big sword'.
Not identical, but extremely similar.

Which one do you feel is more "you?"
Do you mind just questions?
I am merely letting you know that a name is important, yes.
But just because it's something you've been called for a long time doesn't mean that is the name you have to stay with, if you want to change it.
The same with the horse.
[ Most roundabout way of saying, "Just name the horse whatever you want, man." ]

But other than that, it's endearing to look at, hm?
Perhaps, you can go for a ride sometime, too.
With all that has been happening, something like that might be relaxing.

I believe your new companion will take joy in it, too.

Of those that you've spoken to, is there anyone who could do that?
I'm afraid I can't offer because I've also never ridden a horse.

[And if so, why?]

You prevented me from risking my life and so I feel a debt.

I was going to donate a little to help you out, too.

[seriously, why? He doesn't get it.]

I hadn't wanted to help save the mayor or the others kidnapped.
I hadn't wanted to be involved in it.
[ Not that it was dangerous and he couldn't do anything. He simply did not care enough. ]
I used you as a convenient excuse to allow me to not be involved.
If anyone asked me why I did not do more, I could say that someone far better than I had told me I would only get in the way.
I still believe you to be the better man.
But I used your words spoken with righteousness to be my excuse and umbrella to remain uninvolved.
As such, I owe you a debt even if you do not see it.
