Ah yes. I've had conversations like this with students of mine in the past. It's not unusual to question these things so let your buddy know he's not alone and he doesn't have to rush figuring this out.

A similar thing happened to me when I was thirteen. Turned out I was bi. This stuff is kind of on a grey scale though. It can be tricky.

On the other hand it could be an aesthetic appreciation thing? Kind of like hero worship?

Let me guess. Most of the replies you received were people telling you you're bisexual and now you're sweating because a part of you knows that they are right but another part of you dislikes this surprise. You thought you knew yourself. You might also have worries about how the people you love will perceive you if you embrace this part of yourself. If you have people in your life who are particularly old fashioned or religious or if you are it is that much more difficult.
