For those of you who have careers right now, or are working on them:
What lead you to it?
Do you like it or is it just a job to you?
After you got memories back would you rather be doing what you are in those memories?

thank you. And I hope they are too

asking questions like these, though-- are you wondering if you should change your future plans?

because you don't have any idea at all, or because you don't know the way to go about it, or...?

social work is definitely one way to do it

I of course gotta plug ReVA since you're mentioning helping people, haha

but there's a lot of ways to go about it, it all depends on the skills you can bring to the table and what you feel comfortable and happy doing

my roommate is a firefighter, for example, and I'm an events coordinator for city wide events. She's a very physical person, and I'm very organized

you could become a physical therapist if you want to help recovering patients, or maybe a teacher, if you like kids and sharing your life experiences and knowledge

and so on

yeah! Get them out out of the way early on and you might be able to find something you enjoy enough to continue with. There's no shame in getting into the university as an undeclared major

popping into the clubs on campus or attending the club fair might help, too

they have lots of different kinds, something might pique your interest

OH and there's a lot of freshmen mixers you can go to, you'll be able to chat with other students and get ideas

and if worse comes to worse, you can talk it out with one of the school counselors, they'll definitely be able to help you figure something out

BASICALLY don't worry, there's a lot of options, and I'm sure two semesters will be plenty of time for you to discover something you enjoy doing
