You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! ok so april fool’s and stuff aside i actually have something serious to talk about for once.
i’ve been thinking…all of this weird stuff keeps happening in the city like stuff like august or february and now that we are able to be recruited by that guy working for retrospec this is probably even more important.
i was thinking we should maybe try to put together some kind of volunteer team or something for crisis situations?
or like. at least have a group of people who are willing to help out when things get rough.
people could know what other people’s powers and abilities are, help out people who don’t have those kind of skills, train together so we know how to fight in groups, stuff like that.
uh. i‘m not sure when, but i’d like to get people together to talk about this so let me know if you’re interested and we can figure out a meeting schedule and stuff to get stuff organized.

oh i heard about that! someone in our group mentioned it because of some legend of four regions or something? a lot of people in our group had friends in other places.
i would love to see a dragon up close and personal. the last one i saw was a fog-dragon so it wasn't exactly real? maybe i will have to go myself.

yeah maybe. i didn't get any of my powers back until i was on the app for like three months and i know i am still missing some stuff. i got my flight ability back after like two though? sometime in november and i've had the app since september.
so i mean. slow burn is a possibility.

Not really. Why would it? More time for me to sit around and get used to how weird things are going to get. See how everyone I know deals with it and figure out how it's gonna go.

the thing is too that they're not only breaking normal laws they're like breaking laws of science by doing weird things like bringing people back from the dead. that's the other thing i get caught up on.

but i get what you mean. they stopped noticing about the buildings after a while too though so maybe it was a temporary lasp? it just means we have to cause it again.

As a Catholic I find their talk about souls and all the resurrection troubling and I am far from the strictest member of the church. I try not to think about it too deeply since we have so little information but it looms in the background you could say.
Wouldn't that be something? It's worth a shot. I worry about their safety when they treat potentially dangerous effects as normal.

I don't think of the unknown as inherently bad or dangerous so it doesn't bother me in the general sense. It might help that I was forced to navigate a world without knowing what it looks like.
Sometimes knowledge is worse. Knowing something is bad and being unable to do anything about it. That is what gets under my skin.
