But no, really, it's fine! I'm used to it these days. That's what I get for having parents who wanted me to be unique in some aspect. [ and thus doom her to endless lines of confused baristas and fast food workers. alas. ]

I am! I'm a teacher for the elementary school here in the city. Have been for a while now. [ plus fifteen years and counting! ]

Yep! The moment I told the kids I was getting a dog, they demanded I bring them to class. I can't say no to the kids so they'll be meeting my buddy soon.

Buuuut I think I'll make proper introductions to them next month. Don't want to tucker her out too much from activities.

Waiting is good just so she gets used to you.
But I should warn you it is really, really hard to wear out young dogs.
Especially these dogs.

They are basically perpetual motion machines with tails.

I'll do my best! Only had a cat as an official pet but I'll try to do right for the dogs and not tire out easily. Being a teacher for my kids usually means having a lot of irons in the fire, so to speak.
