I did hear some about last August, yes. Which other months were memorable?

Off the top of my head, last May, October, February, and April.

Last May all the humans were shrunk, but nothing else. So picture a regular sized bus being driven, somehow, by a 6cm tall man.

October there was this fog at night and stuff from our memories could manifest in it. Both our personal memories and our other-self's memories.

February was like August, but with the safety on. Retrospec was in control that time.

And then in April, some people lost their current memories. Which seems a bit tame in comparison to other things that have happened, but our heads are being messed with enough already.

I... can't see any beat - that is, a pattern, in the occurrence of big trouble. Other than April *and* May being rather bad, going through June. And now August again.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any discernible pattern or frequency. Though when you only have about a year and a half's worth of points to compare, that's a pretty small sample.

It's not. Though I'm not very sure I think being around for a bigger one will be a great idea.

Same. I really don't want to still be dealing with this at the five year mark, or even the two year mark. Hell, one year was more than enough. But we've still made so little progress.

That's true. Though after all I've read at this point, I'm not sure what 'progress' would really be. I somehow suspect any goal we might pick will end up at odds with the goals of those who're running this.

I guess I measure 'progress' by how much we know about our predicament. Or think we know at least. It seems like a lot... but at the same time... what are we actually able to do with the information we have?

We don't. For one thing, we're sort of trapped. That doesn't sound like it's very conductive to being proactive.
