I'm assuming that others also received a word, mine is 'beta!' I'm still uncertain what that really means, but maybe we should do a tally and go from there!

Anyway, I do have two other questions that I wish to ask! So, I'm going to ask!

Question 1: Has anyone heard of the name 'Kiyotaka Ishida?' I assure you that is not my name, I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru, but I've been getting strange messages about him! From what I've gathered, he's a college student with blonde white hair.

Question 2: How would you define a 'moral compass?' Is it really possible to be the um, best in that? An ultimate moral compass??

To put it simply, my past self had the title of an ultimate moral compass... I understand it sounds strange, but students that attend Hope's Peak Academy are all given a title to show that they're the best at something.

For him, it was being dedicated to his public morals committee and enforcing the rules, but since that can't be applied to me, I've been trying to figure out a way to still be really moral!

Because my friends have titles and they're currently living up to them in their own way! I wanted to do the same!

Ah, hmmm, I think just be context. I think that might mean that you were incorruptible and your word was your bond sort of deal.

I don't know how I feel about our other selves, but I think it's neat that you found something from your other self that you liked and are trying to emulate it.

Though, I don't think its a bad thing if we were to deviate from those...after all I'm pretty sure all of us have gone through things our other-selves wouldn't have.

My word is my bond... I like the sound of it! Making sure that people can place their trust in me is important!

That's true, but I'm certain that his life was far more difficult than mine.

Maybe your answer might more grounded in that. Like, being honorable, making sure that everyone gets the best from you.

If you always do that, can anyone ever say your immoral?

That's his life though, if you remember it, then I guess the only thing you can do is learn from it. But I don't think you should judge yourself based on that one.

I don't know to much about mine, although I assume he is one tough(possibly crazy)customer. My 1st memory was being smacked by an elephant, set on fire and slamming into a wall, getting up, fully intending to fight it.

My other self, I honestly don't have too many memories about him.

I was part of something called the Fog troop, no idea if they were good guys or bad guys. Just that he was passionate about defending them. Got his ass handed to him by some purple haired guy who was a legend.

Other then random fragments, that's all I really got. I have been on the app for...two, three months maybe?

Are you interested in knowing more about him?

Not everyone did. We just told tell stories about the boring ones.

And yeah, it would be nice to know more about him. But I'm far more interested in knowing more about his fire magic and how I can use it myself. Because I can use that to influence the here and now. Ya know what I mean?

I do understand! You want to protect people with your fire magic, correct?!

[It's his first assumption anyway. For the longest time, he wanted powers so that he could protect others.]

People I care about yes. Which right now, the list isn't exactly that long. Hopefully that list gets bigger over time.

[Considering he just figured out he loves his adopted family(of 2 years), small is an understatement ]

As long as there's some people on that list, it still matters! In fact, even if there's only one, the effort is worth it!

I will have to see about that. For a long time I would have never considered protecting anyone. But I'm hoping to change though.

You've already made progress if you want to protect some people instead of none! You're on the right track I say!

Hmm, didn't think of it that way. I'm pretty sure other me had fire magic. Any ideas in places I can practice? Where fire wouldn't be a big deal?

I'd practice near the ocean! Plenty of water and sand around you in case something goes wrong! Better to be safe than sorry!!

Ooooh! That sounds good! Wait....doesn't sand turn into glass if it's too hot? Sides, do we even have a beach near by?

Maybe some back alleyway that's made of concrete and brick? Those can't catch on fire right?
