I'll keep this short and to the point to give you guys time to strategize, catch up, all of that.

Congrats on your Magatus missions. Looks like everything's been cleared out as best as we can, but the region's been evacuated thanks to a couple of factors.

The new problem is we just added a bunch of people to city limits.

I've got some good news and some bad news.

Bad news: need some people out in Pesgare to do some deepdiving and recovery. It doesn't look like there's anything out there that'll kill you, but I need something from down there to stabilize Recollé itself.

Good news: got the subway working. Did you know it was just about coding? That's a little crazy to me and okay, I might have found out on accident, but…whatever was blocking exits from the city was just a false creation.

It means getting out of here and checking out the progress outside. The trains will be ready for departure in about a week, I'll get some maps drawn up and everything. I could really use some of you on location scouting.

Finally…who knows about machinery? We've got a problem we should probably look into, but keeping track of that eye's a huge pain in the ass.

I've got sword fighting skills, myself. Some magic, but it's pretty limited in scope... mostly just fireballs. Haven't really learned to branch out much.

Just from what I know about, I'm missing about half a year's worth of school memories, as well as the span of an entire civil war. I've got bits and pieces of all of it, enough that I can kind of put it together, but a lot of it's still a black box for me.

You're even newer than I am, though, so I imagine you've got the same problem.

Yeah. It's probably for the best if it takes a little bit of time, honestly. Gives you more time to acclimate...

I hope your memories make things easier for you, too. For me... well, yeah, I can't really lie and say it's not "kind of a lot." But... for better or worse, I know how it all ends. That takes a little bit of the edge off of filling in the holes.

I can understand it both ways. It's pretty easy to get discouraged when you work yourself half to death to not die and just get "congratulations! Here's more dangerous work." But you're right. Giving up hope will get us nowhere.

And, of course, I mean it back in turn!

yeah it seems like a lot of people went through some pretty dangerous shit last month
so i can see where they'd be really annoyed with being tasked with this now
and this zee guy doesn't seem to be doing anything to help
other than accidentally fixing the subway i guess

Can confirm... I only went down to Magatus once myself, and got caught in an avalanche while I was there. From what I've heard, the rescue crew didn't have it easy, either. Think I read something about people throwing chairs?

So yeah. I definitely get it. But I do think you're right. We'll lose our will to fight if we all get too negative, after all.

Still, gotta say it's nice to commiserate at least a little.
