This is another of those questions in which I'm not explicitly asking for details, if you don't care to share them; I've simply found that shouting into a void is useful, if not a productive use of my time. But now that the matter of our souls has been brought into question, I suppose this feels more relevant than it would normally.

As time goes on and you have more and more memories forcibly shoved into your head, do you find yourself having difficulty keeping your thoughts and reactions separate from those of the person whose memories you're recalling? Or to put it a different way, do you ever feel the lines blurring – do you understand things that you previously thought you never would, or do you find yourself relating to things that you suspect you shouldn't?

And if so, has that sort of shift in perception changed what you believe you deserve?

To those recently introduced to the Retrospec application, welcome.

Ms. Wiseman's comments yesterday lead me into a jumping off point for a small reminder. If you are affected physically by your recollections and you would like a medical professional to look at what's changed or you require attention for matters related to this app that would be difficult to explain to another doctor, contact me. My name is Grell Sutcliffe, and so far I've been handling such matters for quite a while - I've also been physically changed myself, so I understand how disorienting the experience is. All visits and information are kept confidential, as would be expected for any patient. If you want to tell people, it's on your own time.

And going off of that, I have some findings for us all, ones that I confess are not reassuring in the slightest. If you'd rather not read this for peace of mind, none will judge you.

this is the third call i've been on this year revolving around a toaster. here's a psa, and especially to you college kids: use your toaster as intended. it's not there for grilled cheese, not there to light cigarettes, and don't lay them on their sides, kay?

First item - I need to publicly apologize to a certain BFF for being a jerk and asking dating advice when I should just leave well enough alone. Because I'm pretty sure that people had wondered if there was an apology or not, so this is to assure people that.

Second item - it has come to my attention that we are short some staffing around my office. If anyone is interested in working for a software company, we have some slots available. We are cleared to provide points for schooling as well if you need hands on work for a degree in Business or Software.

Third item - Do those ratings for fireproof blankets, sheets and other things actually mean anything, or should I invest in ceramic and glass stuff? And anyone know of a way to stop the fire alarms from going off every five minutes? I'm getting a headache from them.

[It's early in the evening when a network post goes up. Rather than voice or video, she's sending out text for reasons which will become obvious as people read.]

I know this probably isn't the place for it, but something's happened to my uncle, Matt Murdock. Retrospec gave him some sort of ability and it seems to be affecting his senses.

He seems to be hearing things, and smelling things, and it's making him incredibly sensitive to just about everything. I do not know what to do.

He needs help but I don't think that the hospital can do anything but make it worse. I've already given him earplugs but I want to help him more! Does anyone have any advice, or experience with anything like this at all?

Also, to anyone that he works with? Please don't expect him to come in to work until he's gotten a handle on this. I don't think he can leave the house without being in horrible pain.

[OOC: A log from Matt is located here Additionally, replies may come from Matt or Mary.]

I'm writing this under the assumption that Retrospec can see everything written here and will simply remove it if they would prefer it not be made public.

That said, I've been doing some research into Recollé and Retrospec in an effort to make sense of everything. I'm sure you've seen the latest update, souls dissipating and worlds being destroyed are beyond things I can come to explain. Smaller scale things, however, I can try.

While I cannot promise complete sense, I've drawn some interesting conclusions.

Recollé was founded by four families... )
