Jim Halloway Research & Development Retrspec Incorporated As of this post all apples, oranges, lemons, and limes have been replaced in-universe as the silly dancing fruits shown above. This means that as with Chocobos all NPCs will insist this is how things have always been and history/movies/etc will back them up. In honor of St. Patrick's Day characters will find a request from Retrospec to upload a picture of themselves to the network in which they are wearing something green. They will find themselves shocked lightly by their device if they try to use it without complying. Rude? A non-triggered memory regain can be earned through participation in this post in honor of Lucy's birthday the holiday with proof of a single thread with at least five comments from your character. If you plan to redeem this, please submit it to our regains page with the explanation of "March freebie". This must be submitted before April to be valid! Regardless of whether or not a character earns the freebie, all characters will find a gold coin with the Retrospec logo on one side and a Chocobo on the other. On the outside edge of the coin they will find "Jim, put a meaningful quote here. - Janet" engraved in a beautiful font. The Chocobo will morph into a horse should your character obtain the memory regain from the event; it will stay a Chocobo if your character does not obtain the memory regain. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently.

I wish to punch this Jim in the nose for this. Am I a terrible person for wanting to do this to his nose? I do not personally think that I am a horrible person for that.

The orange scared me half to death. But I suppose you are right. Maybe I will just seethe and wish to punch him, but not punch him. I am just rattled is all.

Yes, the last time I visited their office, it was glass tubes and colored rocks. This "Jim," if that is really his name, is proving difficult to track down.

And I will see to it that I, and those I care about, are fine. I am just concerned about what I will protect them from next. Today, buying papaya and bananas. What tomorrow?

It was a shock and a fright. I am beginning to calm, yes. Actually, thank you for helping there. Some of the strangeness is simply a bit much for me.

i think we both know the answer to that is the same as when we remembered horses but other people did not

I use the question of "Do you remember horses" as a test to make sure someone is one of 'us.' So, yes. I think we can be quite certain of this. We really must stick together, mustn't we?

maybe we should get meetings going for people on retrospec to attend once a month or so

Yes, I recall hearing he had a sister. I don't think we met. A pity.

I am, I will admit, more curious about Danny than the rest, since he appears to be in charge of the technical aspects of this app far more than Jim is. This means that he would be the one to fix what is broken about it, which is to say almost everything.

But it is something to keep an eye out for. The names are at least consistent. Did you happen to receive a golden coin recently, as I did? Both Jim and Janet were involved in it.
