What's up, users! We've mostly fixed the technical problems we were having earlier (unless Danny missed something again) but you might want to wear green. Also, I'm supposed to make a vague and mysterious informational post here but that sounded boring so I made a video presentation instead!

As of this post all apples, oranges, lemons, and limes have been replaced in-universe as the silly dancing fruits shown above. This means that as with Chocobos all NPCs will insist this is how things have always been and history/movies/etc will back them up.

In honor of St. Patrick's Day characters will find a request from Retrospec to upload a picture of themselves to the network in which they are wearing something green. They will find themselves shocked lightly by their device if they try to use it without complying. Rude?

A non-triggered memory regain can be earned through participation in this post in honor of ~~Lucy's birthday~~ the holiday with proof of a single thread with at least five comments from your character. If you plan to redeem this, please submit it to our regains page with the explanation of "March freebie". This must be submitted before April to be valid! Regardless of whether or not a character earns the freebie, all characters will find a gold coin with the Retrospec logo on one side and a Chocobo on the other. On the outside edge of the coin they will find "Jim, put a meaningful quote here. - Janet" engraved in a beautiful font. The Chocobo will morph into a horse should your character obtain the memory regain from the event; it will stay a Chocobo if your character does not obtain the memory regain.

[Alice scrunched up her nose at the smell of vodka, having not smelled it before.]

What is that dreadful smell? Has the fruit spoiled on top of its smiling?

Spoiled..? [He looked at his glass and looked around the room, then looked back at his glass before getting up - wobbling only slightly - and dumping the vodka-laced drink down the drain. Running water, he cleans both the glass and the sink before coming back to his chair, all without too much unsteadiness.]

I guess what I added to my glass wasn't that good. The rest should be okay; the orangy one like oranges and stuff and the greeny one like kiwi and stuff.

[She noticed the wobble but thought he merely had misstepped like she sometimes did. She went over to him.]

I've never had kiwi before. [She knew what oranges tasted like, but not kiwis. And her curiosity over the taste won out over the familiarity. She poured herself some kiwi slush.]

It's not a bad fruit even if the skin's all brown and wrinkly. Maybe it's old fruit skin?

[He was slightly tipsy but far far better then he would have been if he had decided to leave the house. Maybe it was some of the responsibility catching up to him, or maybe it was the odd memory still haunting him. Whatever the case, he reached over for the orangey slush to pour into his glass.]

Do you want ice cream to go with your juice?

[She doesn't realize he's tipsy, which is perhaps for the best as she would be the sort to talk about it and not realize others could see that as a bad thing. Nor does she realize why he might be tipsy in the first place. All she does know is that the sound of ice cream with her juice sounds terribly strange.]

Ice cream to go with my juice? Why would I put ice cream in my juice?
