This means that as with Chocobos all NPCs will insist this is how things have always been and history/movies/etc will back them up. In honor of St. Patrick's Day characters will find a request from Retrospec to upload a picture of themselves to the network in which they are wearing something green. They will find themselves shocked lightly by their device if they try to use it without complying. Rude? A non-triggered memory regain can be earned through participation in this post in honor of Lucy's birthday the holiday with proof of a single thread with at least five comments from your character. If you plan to redeem this, please submit it to our regains page with the explanation of "March freebie". This must be submitted before April to be valid! Regardless of whether or not a character earns the freebie, all characters will find a gold coin with the Retrospec logo on one side and a Chocobo on the other. On the outside edge of the coin they will find "Jim, put a meaningful quote here. - Janet" engraved in a beautiful font. The Chocobo will morph into a horse should your character obtain the memory regain from the event; it will stay a Chocobo if your character does not obtain the memory regain. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Ok so being heartbroken is kind of like when you make plans to go see a new movie, and you're with your friends, and they all get their tickets.
You're next in line. You want to see the film more than any of them. But when you get to the teller, it turns out they just sold out. Your friend bought the last ticket.
Distraught, you tell your friends.
A part of you hope that they will all decide not to go, or that one of them will give up their ticket for you, as again, you're the one who mainly wants to see this on opening night.
They all tell you "that sucks," and go in to see it without you.
Now, any pleb would be able to say that the heartbreak here is the fact that you don't get to see the film, but fuck no, that is entry level shit.
The real tragedy here is that you realizes your friends are goddamn assholes.
And while this isn't really a big enough incident to just dump them, it makes you reevaluate your importance in their lives and where you stand with them and it probably really sucks but also there's the fact that... other movie theaters will have tickets.
You can take the bus to the one downtown, and it's not sold out yet, so you can enjoy it there.
And maybe you meet someone else who went alone and you bond and become best friends or whatever the fuck.
So the moral of the story is that, sometimes people you care about are shit but you can always find someone who is less shit than them, even if you don't realize it while you are still suffering from the soul crushing betrayal.
