This means that as with Chocobos all NPCs will insist this is how things have always been and history/movies/etc will back them up. In honor of St. Patrick's Day characters will find a request from Retrospec to upload a picture of themselves to the network in which they are wearing something green. They will find themselves shocked lightly by their device if they try to use it without complying. Rude? A non-triggered memory regain can be earned through participation in this post in honor of Lucy's birthday the holiday with proof of a single thread with at least five comments from your character. If you plan to redeem this, please submit it to our regains page with the explanation of "March freebie". This must be submitted before April to be valid! Regardless of whether or not a character earns the freebie, all characters will find a gold coin with the Retrospec logo on one side and a Chocobo on the other. On the outside edge of the coin they will find "Jim, put a meaningful quote here. - Janet" engraved in a beautiful font. The Chocobo will morph into a horse should your character obtain the memory regain from the event; it will stay a Chocobo if your character does not obtain the memory regain. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Especially practical heroes. Capes are stupid.

Aw, you really think so? I think there's a certain flair to wearing a cape. Style and flair, giving emphasis to the hero while making their silhouette and form much more striking while they're in the distance.

They just seem so overdone?
Like ok, we get it, you're a superhero.
You might as well be yelling about it on a megaphone while you're at it.

Don't you think they should make it obvious? For the safety of the people?

Because what happens if they wear normal clothes but hide their identities? The villains will probably go after anyone who wears a 'The Bagel is Bogus!' shirt one too many times.

Ok they can still have costumes but they don't have to make them so over the top?
Like you cannot think that all of those added decorations are actually needed, do you?

Decorations? What are those to you?

Alright then- What would your ideal superhero costume be? Mine definitely would be sporting a cape for the swoosh factor and definitely have a pair of sensible shoes. No high heels or bikini cuts because they never looked comfortable in the comic books of my days.

I feel like something inconspicuous would be for the best.
Yet still practical in terms of combat?
What is most important are going to be the powers obviously.
Like it would be smart to match your costume up based on what you actually DO right?

So if someone who has animal-themed powers? Should they wear cheetah prints if they're fast as a cheetah? Have six attachments on them if they have powers of a spider?

But eight attachments that can be used during combat now that I think about it. Can you imagine? Eight arms to attack one person!

Well that probably would depend on if you can actually control the attachments or if they just sort of flop around like

Oh no! The vision in my head of the attachments just flapping and flopping in the wind is so strong. I don't think I'll be able to get this vision out of my head for the rest of the day.
