I think Retrospec sent me live... contraband, that's the word? Something that shouldn't be mailed in a box to a child randomly? Not that my guardian believes me, she thinks he's just a cute tabby cat that some really nice Retrospec employee gave me/had to give up. So did the vet we took him to, so for right now I just have an "active imagination"! Haha... Advice/recommendations for good cat food and toys would be really helpful, actually. He's really sweet, just jumpy.

I really don't know. He listens to me and that's a little odd for a new owner and a new cat, but I'm not sure he'll keep doing that. I want to be nice but spoiling pets is bad.

Pet keeping is just as scary, and yet it doesn't feel right to give him up to someone else as their responsibility... i think that happened once already.

Actually knowing that ahead of time before disasters happen might be a better idea.

Well, good cat food should have meat`in it. Did you know tuna-based cat food has more tuna content than canned tuna meant for us? We learned that in Home Economics.

It's because of preservatives! And seasonings. Salt too.

As long as torakun is fed healthy food, it's okay! I don't get tuna salad sandwiches to taste very good anyway... the texture and tanginess is hard to get right!

Oh! I have to be careful not to leave food out now. Torakun likes getting into everything! Mostly boxes and paper bags, but I just caught him on the kitchen counter...

It was a funny lesson! We had to figure out which was food we'd take camping by only knowing their ingredients. Lots of people brought what was revealed later to be cat food, because it sounded healthy.

...I have a spritzer bottle for discipline! For plants, torakun, and hungover tenants.

There'a a lot of things I'm afraid of:
-bad grades
-making people mad
-rotten zombie fruit

but torakun isn't one of them. Weird, I should be, but something in my head tells me it'll be alright. Like I'm sure he won't eat me.

Also, Aunt Ryo let me have the spray bottle for those reasons. Now I have fern duty and "get the afterparty animals off the lobby couches" duty.
