Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Characters who have been in game for more than one month will find they can change their profile pictures; newcomers are locked into their first choice. At various points throughout the day users will be sent images of themselves from behind, regardless of where they are. There doesn't seem to be any way to catch whoever might be taking and sending these, however, especially since being alone in a room doesn't seem to be a deterrent. You know what? I'm fine with that. I've made peace with it. I mean,
it makes sense doesn't it? They'd have to be be pretty damn omniscient.

I don't know if there's anything specific indicating the app is what causes people to realize it. I'm not sure how to test that either. But there's a correlation at least.

Get app then realize things are weird.
People who don't have it don't realize anything about chobobos or fruits.
There's nothing solid linking them, and correlation doesn't imply causation.
But it's still something.

You're right. The timing is always going to be suspicious, so it's important we recognize these connections.

That being said, I should also point out people don't tend to notice whenever individuals change as well. Either they see it as normal, or they believe the change is something kind of mundane, like someone coloring their hair or in that vein.

The last time this app was forcibly released was during February. Correct? There are n't enough points to make a connection, but the timing is another thing to look out for.

So they just think it's been like that the whole time or they don't acknowledge it at all. What's been the strangest thing?

Honestly, that's why I think they have allies in the city government. I know we have a few police officers among us but they haven't been able to convince people any better than the rest of us, I think.

I don't think anyone here personally knows him. He's made posts before so I guess people are speaking familiarity to him because he's acting that way with us.

I guess Eustace works as well as anything.

I don't really know how else to explain it, though. Ever since this started, we've been getting memories and artifacts from people who aren't ourselves. As if they were some kind of past life. Just mentioning something similar to what happened in a memory can cause it, and the items arrive from the mail or are just, err, found. Sometimes a memory can be triggered by nothing in particular, though... they can come out of nowhere, it feels like.

I felt similar when this first started happening. I was scared and didn't know what was happening.

But it's what's happening to us. I don't know if there's anyway to stop it either.

it's a lot, you know? i don't know. there's obviously some seriously weird stuff happening here. [This memory stuff sounds insane though. He doesn't know how to take it. He hasn't had anything like that happen and even if he just got the app today, he doubts it will. Weird cameras is one thing, but this is too much to swallow, at least right now.]
