Tatsuo Kihara
5/11 near Utsuki Dojo, TisseOkay, now that we're all back to our usual heights, I just want to introduce myself.
My name is Tatsuo Kihara and I'm a CSI with the Retrospec Police Department. I specialize in fingerprints, but I also handle non-biologic trace evidence and ballistics. So, if Retrospec is sending you any weird items you want examined, I can try to help you learn a bit more about whatever it is you got sent.

Seriously, the last one was in the freezer under a piece of chicken I was going to cook. It is becoming ridiculous.

Mainly, don't touch the knife with your bare skin. If you wrap it in anything to handle it, make sure to also give me that item as well. You can place it in a plastic or paper bag, whichever is on hand. With a knife it'll be best to meet outside the crime lab. The security protocols at the lab would not allow you to bring me the knife there, even to the front desk.

Ok, I can do that. I imagine at this rate that I will find one in the next day or two, and I can bring it to you outside of the lab, if you'll give me an address. I'll do my best not to touch it. Anything else they've given me I've touched already unfortunately. And some of it defies explanation.

I'm usually at the Utsuki Dojo most evenings, so that would be a convenient location. It's on [street] near [other street] in Tisse. Just message me through the app when you find one and we can meet there.
no subject
I would be happy to meet you at the Dojo. And, when we meet I might be interested in learning more about that. I have been looking into finding one.
no subject
Sure! I can show you around. We've got classes for all ages and skill levels.

I am seriously tempted to put bars on them right now, but that might be a bit expensive, and it's not good if there's a fire is it?
That sounds wonderful. What sort of martial arts does it teach?

Roderic Dennis Valdez That's awesome!!
no subject
Tatsuo Kihara I work with the police, but I'm not actually a cop.
no subject
[ so just like his animes then...? he's pretty sure there's an actual word to the description he gave but its escaping him for now boo. ]
Roderic Dennis Valdez But yeah! Your job sounds really neat and you sound really nice offering to help us with the weird stuff being sent.
no subject
Tatsuo Kihara Thanks. I thought this would be the best way I could help with the situation.
no subject
Roderic Dennis Valdez That sounds really cool!
Roderic Dennis Valdez I think it'll help people out a lot! Maybe you can uncover a secret conspiracy and stuff.
Roderic Dennis Valdez If so then I want to help you out, mister!
no subject
Tatsuo Kihara The best way you can help is to let people know that if Retrospec sends them something and they want to know more about it, that I can at least take a look.

And no you definitely can't normally shrink stuff, if we were supposedly condensed like that then we shouldn't have been able to normally eat or breathe since the rest of the world wasn't condensed, right? Let alone the fact that our brains were perfectly functional at that size which just flies in the face of science and there were supposedly medical studies about it last week and I'm just
losing my mind here??
[when being a doctor is directly an obstacle to handling your first absolutely crazy experience]
no subject
But here's a thought. We were somehow shrunk. Whatever if whoever did that to us gained entry to our living spaces by being tiny themselves? They could have squeezed under my front door, there's a gab that would be just big enough. And if they injected us while that size, once we shrunk down the injection site would be so small as to be invisible.
I don't think this is what experiencing a break with reality feels like? But I could be wrong. But for so many people to also be experiencing the same dissonance...
kind of points to us all being perfectly sane?
I hope.
[yeah, Tatsuo is feeling the same way]

no subject
not sure if thatd be more or less creepy
than a robot arm made in just my size
no subject
a robot arm i can work with
have you touched it yet?
no subject
thats how i figured out it was the right size
i was looking for some kinda branding or serial number
no subject
if you'd like, i can take a look.
i wouldn't be able to tell you anything about how it works, but maybe about what its made from and where the material might have come from.
