Okay, now that we're all back to our usual heights, I just want to introduce myself. My name is Tatsuo Kihara and I'm a CSI with the Retrospec Police Department. I specialize in fingerprints, but I also handle non-biologic trace evidence and ballistics. So, if Retrospec is sending you any weird items you want examined, I can try to help you learn a bit more about whatever it is you got sent.

It's re-assuring to finally have someone with your skills stuck using this app. My condolences, but we haven't had someone who could look that closely. I keep finding knives in my home that I didn't purchase. If I were to bring one too you, what precautions should I take about it?

Seriously, the last one was in the freezer under a piece of chicken I was going to cook. It is becoming ridiculous.

That does sound rather alarming. It's one thing to receive something in the mail and another thing entirely for it to just turn up in your home.

Mainly, don't touch the knife with your bare skin. If you wrap it in anything to handle it, make sure to also give me that item as well. You can place it in a plastic or paper bag, whichever is on hand. With a knife it'll be best to meet outside the crime lab. The security protocols at the lab would not allow you to bring me the knife there, even to the front desk.

Especially since I have a deadbolt that doesn't have a lock on the outside. But I have gotten a few items that way, with no sign of anyone breaking in.

Ok, I can do that. I imagine at this rate that I will find one in the next day or two, and I can bring it to you outside of the lab, if you'll give me an address. I'll do my best not to touch it. Anything else they've given me I've touched already unfortunately. And some of it defies explanation.

To be honest, I hadn't considered the windows, as I don't live on the first floor, but for a variety of reasons I might want to set up a camera. Perhaps I will learn something.

Yeah, a lot of people disregard windows once they're second floor or higher. But if someone is determined, height isn't an issue with the right tools.

Tatsuo Kihara Hah, yeah there are a few television shows that deal with crime labs. Just remember that TV tends to more exciting than the real world.

Do you guys have any lead on exactly what shrunk us down to such a small size? I didn't think that the human body could function on a small scale like that.

We're forensic scientists, not magicians. And biology isn't my specialty. But if you look at matter from more of a chemistry standpoint, there's actually a lot of empty space in the human body, between electrons. If you could overcome the charge issue, you maybe theoretically could shrink something.

Obviously you're not doctors, I'm still trying to analyze blood samples I took from myself but I don't have full-time access to a lab anymore. I mean were you able to find anything like signs of an injection, evidence of breaking and entering, stuff like that?

And no you definitely can't normally shrink stuff, if we were supposedly condensed like that then we shouldn't have been able to normally eat or breathe since the rest of the world wasn't condensed, right? Let alone the fact that our brains were perfectly functional at that size which just flies in the face of science and there were supposedly medical studies about it last week and I'm just

losing my mind here??

As far as my apartment goes, I found no evidence of forced entry. Even if they picked my lock, I still have a deadbolt and chain. My windows all have locks. I'm not really trained to investigate bodies, so I didn't think to look for an injection site.

But here's a thought. We were somehow shrunk. Whatever if whoever did that to us gained entry to our living spaces by being tiny themselves? They could have squeezed under my front door, there's a gab that would be just big enough. And if they injected us while that size, once we shrunk down the injection site would be so small as to be invisible.

I don't think this is what experiencing a break with reality feels like? But I could be wrong. But for so many people to also be experiencing the same dissonance...
kind of points to us all being perfectly sane?

It points to some sort of mass delusion?? I don't know what kind of con man could give all these people on this weird network the same messed up illusions, but there's something going on here that's just not right.
