Okay, now that we're all back to our usual heights, I just want to introduce myself.

My name is Tatsuo Kihara and I'm a CSI with the Retrospec Police Department. I specialize in fingerprints, but I also handle non-biologic trace evidence and ballistics. So, if Retrospec is sending you any weird items you want examined, I can try to help you learn a bit more about whatever it is you got sent.

Yes, I would say that twelve could be fit. There are ten slots on either side, tightly packed. So, I would also not be surprised if I found more.

[The girl had always seemed to have a never-ending supply of them, and had to have been quite healthy to have carried as many knives around as she did. Even with the hole lightening the weight, it was still easily ten or more pounds in total of extra weight she always seemed to have.]

(OOC: That she did, so we can definitely work with it.)

Oh, the woman whose memories I see as a hallucination is no hobbyist, sir. [She shook her head.] It is like watching a bad spy thriller come to life. She clearly knows how to use them.

But, I suppose you might call me a hobbyist, unintentionally.

A few of the sights have been disturbing. Watching her and others taking on the triads was... frightening to say the least, though I am starting to get a little... well, not used to it. However, it has happened several times now.

It's just strange, because the hallucinations linger, almost as if they were normal memories, not like watching a favorite show.

Yes, a fair way to put it, I think. I am less "used to" as much as I am accustomed to seeing these things. And, that is basically the problem. Once I see them, it is not like the movies. You put yourself in the character's shoes, but it is always a fantasy. This, even if I call it a hallucination, it is as if I lived it.

Yes, though I have been attempting to take the attitude that I will take what I wish from them, and refuse to take the rest. [She was firm in that resolve, even trying to use some of these skills in ways that were clearly not what Chloe in her memories would have done.]

But at the same time, the fact that they linger, complete with her impressions of people and situations... well, they aren't replacing who I am, so they can't completely affect me. I still worry, though.

Basically, I'm afraid that it's that simple. Right now, we're dependent on information we just don't have... and as frustrating as it is, some of the things we get from these hallucinations are at least useful.

mmm, I hope that won't be as useful as the acrobatic skill that came with it. I really do. But I do hope that you manage to glean something. Be patient if not, though. This has been a slow process to be sure.

[She smirked at that. Yeah, there was a reason she'd included the phrase 'thriller' in her descriptions. Real spies didn't do acrobatic flips before hurling daggers like ninja with shuriken. Guns worked fine.]

That sounds fair. I will wait to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to give me a call. But for now, I should take my leave. You, no doubt, have work to do.
