Hey, Users! This month's wikihow is right over here. In other news, don't you just love our logo colors? Such a nice shade of blue. I'm pretty fond of it myself! You know, Janet has blue eyes. But then, I guess you guys don't know anyone with eyes that color anymore, right? Whoops.

Anyway, see you next month! Well, some of you anyway. :)

As discussed on the monthly plot post the colors blue and green are now gray - except for the blue on the retrospec application logo and their building sign, although no NPC will be capable of seeing the color in these places. As stated in the plot post, NPCs will also seem to be completely unaware that the colors blue and green ever existed. Oops.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Last's month's application round characters are now capable of changing their profile pictures.

I have a baby alligator because it showed up in my room this morning.
Although false alarm, it's still blue.
It's pretty well behaved.

Thaaaat seems like it's more alarming than being colorblind. At least in the short term.

Why. I guess. Do you have any idea why you'd get a baby alligator?

From what I understand in my memories, I have at least five strange animal friends, although I haven't remembered anything about this one.

One's a bear with a ring on his belly. The other's a huge crow with a hat. I guess the tiny crocodile fits in.

Dammit why are everyone else's hallucinomemories so much cooler than mine.

If it makes you feel any better, I think mine are supposed to be cool, but keep cutting off right before any cool stuff actually happens.
What are yours about?

So far? I waited outside in the cold for someone to show up in time for a ferry. That's it! Nothing cool as far as I could see!

If you're remembering weird monsters, that still sounds like something cool happening!

Maybe you're just getting a slow start. There's always the chance to remember something cool later.

Maybe. That's what I'm hoping. Did you start remembering monsters right away, or did it take a while?
feistytrader: (okay then)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-06-03 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know if they're monsters. They seem more like weird magic animals.

I haven't had a memory without them, though.

Oh, sorry! Magic animals, then. Can I see a picture of the alligator? You know, maybe it will jog my memory or something like that!

[no, she just wants to see a picture of the weird alligator.]

I don't see why not.

[Behold, the mighty champion. He's eating one of the dancing apples...]

[Wow that... that sure is a blue baby alligator. She's not sure what she was expecting, but somehow it wasn't that.]

Oh my god it looks like a little dinosaur. And it's blue!! And it's... do alligators normally eat fruit?
feistytrader: (sticker stars)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-06-05 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty sure they don't, but he's definitely not a normal alligator. I don't think it should be toxic. That's only if you eat too many seeds, right?
skald: (yhdeksänkymmentäkaksi)

[personal profile] skald 2017-06-07 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Omg like when you eat like 400 apple seeds and end up dying because of cyanide poisoning??! I saw a murder mystery like that once!!

I don't know if it applies to reptiles, though... but if he can eat fruit, that's better than you having to buy live rats or something to feed him?
feistytrader: (water u doin parasee)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-06-09 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Live... rats...]

He'll also eat chicken nuggets, but I don't know if that's healthy for him.

They're probably better for him than apples? I don't know a lot about alligators but don't they usually eat meat?
