Hey, Users! This month's wikihow is right over here. In other news, don't you just love our logo colors? Such a nice shade of blue. I'm pretty fond of it myself! You know, Janet has blue eyes. But then, I guess you guys don't know anyone with eyes that color anymore, right? Whoops.

Anyway, see you next month! Well, some of you anyway. :)

As discussed on the monthly plot post the colors blue and green are now gray - except for the blue on the retrospec application logo and their building sign, although no NPC will be capable of seeing the color in these places. As stated in the plot post, NPCs will also seem to be completely unaware that the colors blue and green ever existed. Oops.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Last's month's application round characters are now capable of changing their profile pictures.

Tuuri Hotakainen I guess I never thought that much about the mechanics of how they were doing it.
Tuuri Hotakainen I mean, I've wondered about it of course, but it all seems so impossible that no explanation would make sense.
Tuuri Hotakainen But I'd rather think that we won something by finding them, I guess! So you're right!

Hitori Togusa The mechanics isn't something I'm the best at.
Hitori Togusa But it feels like that needs to be true.

Tuuri Hotakainen Well... I did see someone suggest that we're all being hypnotized.
Tuuri Hotakainen Like it's all in our minds and we just THINK weird things are happening.
Tuuri Hotakainen IDK, it feels more likely to me than reality-controling hardware, for some reason.

Hitori Togusa Mind control, not tech. At least someone has to explore the psychological angle, instead of the technological one. I like it, but I have to poke holes in the idea.
Hitori Togusa Why is everyone else forgetting things, then? We can't see blue, but everyone else forgot blue. That's really wide scope for mind control.

Tuuri Hotakainen Hmm, well, if it is mind control I think it'd go more like this:
Tuuri Hotakainen My brother isn't on the app, and doesn't even live in America. I think he isn't mind controlled at all. He still sees horses, blue and green, etc. But when he mentions either of them to me,
I think he's saying "chocobo" or "grey." So they've mind controlled me to think I see a giant bird whenever I see a horse AND to hear the word "horse" as "chocobo." That's why he doesn't know what I'm talking about when I send him a picture and ask him what's wrong with it. There really isn't anything wrong with it, I'm just seeing it wrong!

Tuuri Hotakainen That's just how I think it might work if we really are getting mind controlled. They don't have the ability to influence the entire world, they just mess with our ability to understand it. If that makes sense.

Hitori Togusa I really had to think about this one for a bit. I like it. I'm not sure how to prove this theory, but it makes a lot of sense.
Hitori Togusa Nobody's stopped to think that we might actually be the people seeing the world strange. And it feels more likely, we are already the people that Retrospec has shown some amount of control over. Better than them changing the entire world except us.

Tuuri Hotakainen Haha, I don't really know how to prove it either, or even if it totally explains everything we're seeing... but it just makes more sense to me this way. This way they're only messing with... two hundred people? I mean it's still a lot but it makes more sense than controlling the entire world!
