Hey, Users! This month's wikihow is right over here. In other news, don't you just love our logo colors? Such a nice shade of blue. I'm pretty fond of it myself! You know, Janet has blue eyes. But then, I guess you guys don't know anyone with eyes that color anymore, right? Whoops. Anyway, see you next month! Well, some of you anyway. :) Jim Halloway Research & Development Retr ![]() As discussed on the monthly plot post the colors blue and green are now gray - except for the blue on the retrospec application logo and their building sign, although no NPC will be capable of seeing the color in these places. As stated in the plot post, NPCs will also seem to be completely unaware that the colors blue and green ever existed. Oops.
Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Last's month's application round characters are now capable of changing their profile pictures. |

[A pause. How much should she pry?]
Do you want to talk about it?
no subject
That's about all.
[Another sigh, this time somehow even longer.]
There was a short period of time where I felt like I wasn't doomed, but right now, watching the color train from the world, I feel especially doomed. I wasted my entire life, pretty much.
no subject
That's not true at all. I understand that all these world changes feel like they're building up to something bad, or worse, an end, but nobody's giving up yet, and you shouldn't either. You're one of the last people I want to see giving up, Terra. There's so many things that you can do, that you can look forward to.
no subject
I'm not giving up, I'm just a fucking mess of a person, even without this shit.
[He grits his teeth in frustration--for some reason, swearing like that in front of Minako feels...bad.]
I wish I had...
[Again with the pauses, and the inability to communicate his real feelings.]
I'm sorry. I'm fine, I'm okay.
...It means a lot that you called.
no subject
[She sighs softly.]
I don't think you're okay, though. But I don't want to push you. I know I don't like being pressured to talk, after I have a panic attack.
[Yeah, she just admitted that.]
no subject
...Seriously though.
[There's an outpoor of Feelings in his heart, none of which seem to be something he can express.]
I'm okay, I promise. I just...needed you to remind me of some things, I guess.
Again. [A slight, self-deprecating laugh.]
no subject
I'm here for you for however many times you need reminding. [A pause.] Reminders are good, you know. They keep people on track. It's not a bad thing that you need one, since it means you're working towards something.
no subject
I guess so.
Yeah.
Thanks.
[The awkward pause of not knowing what to say, exactly.]
...Better blue than red, I suppose.
no subject
I don't know about that. I would gladly have gray eyes instead of red if it meant blue could stay. [A hum.] Sora is pretty upset...and I am too. His side of the family has the most beautiful blue eyes.

[Terra lolls his head back, and spends the next few moments deliberating over what he wants to say next.]
When I was little, I read this book. In the book, there's no color, it's a world where everything is gray and the same. And there's this boy, and he's different from everyone else. There's this girl, and he likes her, and one day, he notices something strange. Her hair is shining, glowing a bright red--something he's never even been able to conceive anymore. Her bright red hair, red lips...The most beautiful thing he's ever seen, that red, that girl...
[He catches himself trailing off, and awkwardly tries to restore some composure.]
Ah, yeah, anyway...
I've always found red to be a special color, more powerful and passionate and expressive than any other.
I'm glad that I can still watch the sunset.
no subject
...mm. Yeah. It'd look a little weird against the gray of the sea, but at least the sky would change color for a little while. I'll have to remember to go watch it more often too.
no subject
Together, sometime.
[He clenches his fist briefly, in disbelief of his own mouth.]
...Anyway, I think I'll be okay. If you have something else you need to take care of.
no subject
...sure. Or maybe the sunrise instead, if you can wake up early enough for it. We could go on a morning run together. With, um. With Korochan.
[Why does she feel so tongue-tied all of a sudden? It's easier to turn her attention instead to being the caring friend instead of...whoever she was, just a second ago.]
I have a paper, but I'm more worried about you. Are you really okay?
