Well, some of you anyway. :) Jim Halloway Research & Development Retrspec Incorporated As discussed on the monthly plot post the colors blue and green are now gray - except for the blue on the retrospec application logo and their building sign, although no NPC will be capable of seeing the color in these places. As stated in the plot post, NPCs will also seem to be completely unaware that the colors blue and green ever existed. Oops. Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Last's month's application round characters are now capable of changing their profile pictures.

Yeah, but if some folks have lost access to the app before, it’d be weird to start pointing that out now.

And after all the comments I’ve seen about what some people here would like to do if they met our buddy Jim here, he’d be stupid to just waltz right up to us and expect to walk away without a new bruise or two.

The only way he’d manage that is if he was real selective about who he talked to, or Retrospec just up and kidnapped some people.

He might choose to speak with the ones who have been the most affected, memory-wise, or have the coolest dispositions. But if something as drastic as /kidnapping/ becomes a reality, it won't happen without the entirety of the community crying foul. Recolle PD won't stand idly by and allow it to happen.

I wouldn’t expect anyone to stand around doing nothing if that happened, but I don’t know what they’d be able to do about it. From what I’ve heard, nobody’s even been able to learn anything about these Retrospec people, let alone do anything about all the stuff they’ve been throwing at us. And that includes the police department.

You're right, of course. But I'd like to think that a bit of urgency might propagate creative ways to solve a /kidnapping/ problem, if it came down to it.

But perhaps that's just wishful thinking?

I wonder how they’d do that if you don’t tell anyone what you’re remembering. Unless they’re triggering all that themselves...

Then we’ll just have to hope it doesn’t come down to that. Wishful thinking or not, I have a feeling that they’ll be ready for whatever we can come up with. It sounds to me like they’re always a step ahead of everyone else.

Hey, with this many people affected by whatever it is they're doing, they won't have a head start on us forever. Sooner or later, we're going to catch up, and I have a feeling they might just regret it when we do.

Undoubtedly. But will they have accomplished whatever they've set out to do by then?
