Hey, Users! This month's wikihow is right over here. In other news, don't you just love our logo colors? Such a nice shade of blue. I'm pretty fond of it myself! You know, Janet has blue eyes. Well, some of you anyway. :) Jim Halloway Research & Development Retrspec Incorporated As discussed on the monthly plot post the colors blue and green are now gray - except for the blue on the retrospec application logo and their building sign, although no NPC will be capable of seeing the color in these places. As stated in the plot post, NPCs will also seem to be completely unaware that the colors blue and green ever existed. Oops. Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Last's month's application round characters are now capable of changing their profile pictures.

and I can't do that

I might be able to convince him if I had some guarantee it wouldn't mess me up forever but if I did then I wouldn't need to test it out right?

It's up to you, of course. But I don't see why you're beholden to someone else's opinions. It's your body.

[If it were any other friend, and any other situation, Yamato would have no problem going into detail about why he cares so much. But this is the one thing he knows better than to talk about, at least in public--so while his response isn't a lie, it's pretty obviously sidestepping.]

well some guys did break into my apartment and attack me recently
I didn't think they came from retrospec at the time but I can't imagine why they would've done it... it was pretty weird now that I think about it

I mean they didn't even look at our stuff
they just came in and asked me about something... I don't remember what but
then they attacked me
like I did something to them

I have no idea why retrospec would want to target me though
I don't know any more than anybody else does

[He knows quite a bit less, probably, all things considered. He wants to know what's going on just like everyone else, but his priorities have always stayed fairly close to home, and taking care of his loved ones has always been his main goal. If it had just been him, maybe he would've tried breaking into the Retrospec building or wandering around in the woods himself, but... he's got people to look after, so it's not worth the risk, in his opinion.]

Certainly it's a possibility. Perhaps they want to test your abilities, or see if you've regained any. Violent in what fashion? Are you the aggressor, or simply a witness?

I was definitely fighting in one
then another time there was definitely a battle going on
and one time when I was sparring my body moved by itself
that kind of stuff

I was in the middle of a sparring match when I just kind of
did some weird fighting move that doesn't even make sense for kendo
I know I never learned it from anybody here, it just sort of... happened
like my body was reacting to a fight but in a way I'd never taught it to

it was here, during kendo class
it happened like a week after I had one of those memories though
that was the first time I saw one I think

[Well, no, technically it was the second, but Kashuu giving him a hairpin is such a non-memory that Yamato's still not quite convinced it wasn't just a normal dream.]

Have you tried recreating the environment, seeing if it will happen again?

not intentionally but I go to class almost every day
I can still do the move if I want to but I have to think about it intentionally now, so it doesn't feel the same
oh, but
I have a friend who was able to do it too... and he said he remembered doing it too
