I mean, Maurice did some of it, but I did most of it. So basically we're democratically crowd-sourcing what we're going to bother to fix for you! This includes the echo flowers in the Recollé woods! NPCs seem to be incapable of seeing this color still, however, and will not note any differences. The color does not seem capable of being transferred to anything else, either, and any attempts to do so will simply fade the color of the thing you were trying to use to do that. [Togusa still doesn't live too far from the University, but it's like he intentionally was trying to live as close to his old stomping grounds and as close to the Department as possible. Never too far from work.

Togusa gets the door, and Tatsuo gets to see the rare sight of Togusa not buttoned-up and formal. Even on his off-days, there's a sense of neatness about the man, but today, he does not even care, and threw on a tank top and this pair of pants that hit him at mid-calf. Sloppy as hell, but at least he's comfortable. Even still, he smiles when he sees Tatsuo at the door.]

Togusa's eyebrows raise, and he steps out of the way so Tatsuo can come in, while reaching for the cookies. "Well, good, the last thing I need is Fynn and Juzo and everybody rotating in here to check on me personally. I'd never get back to sleep."

Togusa leads Tatsuo back over to the couch where he's been nesting for the past few days. The blanket shuffles and a puppy nose peeks out from underneath. A tiny miniature schnauzer has been cuddled up with Togusa on the couch. Boof? His tail thumps against the couch as Daisuke peers up at Tatsuo.

"Tatsuo, Daisuke. Daisuke, Tatsuo."

[Tatsuo hands over the cookies and bends down to greet Togusa's puppy.]

So this is the little guy who has you wrapped around his paw.

[He holds out his right hand, palm up for the dog to inspect.

Hi Daisuke. Nice to meet you. I see you've been keeping a close watch on your owner.

Daisuke shoves his nose forwards, sniffing intently at Tatsuo's hand. He briefly seems to follow the cookie bag, but turns back to Tatsuo. He smells more interesting. Tail keeps wagging, and he calmly sits back down on the couch cushion. Okay, you may pet me.

Togusa smiles at the interaction, and starts to unwrap the package. "Oh, man." He carefully picks up one of the cookies and starts to nibble on the side of it, before his eyes light up, and he bites it in half. He makes a 'mmm' sound of approval.

"I did not know he could bake. These are his?"

Sweet. He passed the pet test. Tatsuo gives Daisuke a double-handed ear scratch/head massage and looks back at at Togusa.

"Yeah, I didn't know either. But now I know who to ask if I need a cookie fix."

Oh, Daisuke might have a new best friend, he lets out little excited whines as he rubs into Tatsuo's hands. When Tatsuo lets go, he shakes out his head to fluff himself back up, but he pants excitedly.

Togusa laughs. "I am going to have to hunt him down, then. Did he just come by the housewarming, or are you two rooming together now? Never found out where you ended up..." You know, after the fire, which Togusa is not going to directly mention.

See, dogs should be cute like Daisuke. Not bloodthirsty like Ripper. Tatsuo gives Daisuke an extra scratch under his chin.

"Oh, he just came to the party. Brought a bunch of food, which was awesome, because I kind of hadn't gone grocery shopping yet. My friend Kaz helped me find the place. It's a newer construction closer Chata. Pretty convenient really. Closer to both work and the dojo."
