Maurice was going to do this, but Maurice sucks so I sent him home before he could. Anyway, some of you may have noticed our new poll feature! We just don't have the time and resources to cater to all your "where is x item, what the fuck" complaints, so we had to streamline. The polls were the result of that! Coded them myself. I mean, Maurice did some of it, but I did most of it.

So basically we're democratically crowd-sourcing what we're going to bother to fix for you! You can send thank you notes to the building, HR doesn't mind. So far it seems like you all care about the color blue most, so we fixed it!

A little, anyway. I suggest a bracing walk through the woods if you particularly missed the color and don't feel like gazing deeply into a hobo's eyes.

You've all been reading up on QR codes, right? You might also want to learn to start a fire. Just a tip.

As per the World Regains tracker, fruits and flowers that were once blue are once again blue. This includes the echo flowers in the Recollé woods! NPCs seem to be incapable of seeing this color still, however, and will not note any differences. The color does not seem capable of being transferred to anything else, either, and any attempts to do so will simply fade the color of the thing you were trying to use to do that. Furthermore, one thread of at least 10 comments from you from this post may be supplied for one untriggered memory by linking the thread and in explanation putting "June Freebie". This may only be claimed through the rest of June, and may not be claimed after the month ends.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently.

A leper's fucking diseased taint could make a better Jim than Jim.
His job is just annoying us whenever we think we're getting used to things.
You know what's also annoying?
Leprosy.

A leper's fucking diseased taint?!? Where do you come up with these insults? Do you keep a thesaurus around in your home just to mock people, Karkat? I would believe you if you said you did.

And I think the flesh sloughing off your bones and fingers falling off is a bit more than annoying, Karkat. Please do not tell me you just remembered a time when you had leprosy.

The only thing falling off me when I remember shit is any semblance of patience I've had.
So no I was not a goddamn leper in a past lime or whatever.

Which does not answer the persistent question of how you come up with these insults of yours. I am convinced you carry a thesaurus, and one of these days, I am going to find it and take it away from you, just to see if you have them memorized.

Wow
Don't insult me.
I am a master wordsmith and these all come from me, on the spot, and I will not let anyone say otherwise and tarnish this image I have so brilliantly crafted for myself.

If you're telling the truth and not just bluster, I might almost be a little impressed, Karkat. But I won't know for sure until I can verify you don't carry one around, so for now I'm a skeptic.

Prove me wrong, oh walking thesaurus.

I am not a motherfucking dog, Chloe.
You can't tell me to do something and then expect me to roll over, showing off my possibly neutered balls, ready to receive some type of bland treat that tastes vaguely of what is advertised as bacon.

I think I can splurge for real bacon, thank you very much Fido. And the only reason you don't roll over like a good boy is that I have clearly not finished your obedience training properly.

Give it time. I'll have you fitted for a collar soon enough.

[This one's on Karkat, as far as she's concerned. He's the one talking about being a dog.]

Ok I can make those kinds of jokes but from you it just sounds weird.
So I am banning you from saying anything like that ever again.
true_noir: (Hmmm)

No, I think I agree with you today. It does, a little. You just make them flippantly, and me it sounds awkward. I will find other ways to tease you.

Someone ring the alarm!
We've both agreed on something!!!
I'll mark it down on my calendar so we can celebrate it as a holiday from now on.

It isn't the first time, silly. Trust me, I'll make sure to get you a better holiday to celebrate one of these days. You are such a silly over-reactor.

All a matter of opinion, Karkat. All a matter of opinion. Ah, but it's in the eyes of the beholder, yes?
