Maurice was going to do this, but Maurice sucks so I sent him home before he could. Anyway, some of you may have noticed our new poll feature! We just don't have the time and resources to cater to all your "where is x item, what the fuck" complaints, so we had to streamline. The polls were the result of that! Coded them myself. I mean, Maurice did some of it, but I did most of it. So basically we're democratically crowd-sourcing what we're going to bother to fix for you! You can send thank you notes to the building, HR doesn't mind. So far it seems like you all care about the color blue most, so we fixed it! A little, anyway. I suggest a bracing walk through the woods if you particularly missed the color and don't feel like gazing deeply into a hobo's eyes. You've all been reading up on QR codes, right? You might also want to learn to start a fire. Just a tip. Jim Halloway Research & Development Retr spec IncorporatedAs per the World Regains tracker, fruits and flowers that were once blue are once again blue. This includes the echo flowers in the Recollé woods! NPCs seem to be incapable of seeing this color still, however, and will not note any differences. The color does not seem capable of being transferred to anything else, either, and any attempts to do so will simply fade the color of the thing you were trying to use to do that. Furthermore, one thread of at least 10 comments from you from this post may be supplied for one untriggered memory by linking the thread and in explanation putting "June Freebie". This may only be claimed through the rest of June, and may not be claimed after the month ends.
Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. |

[And she really isn't going to argue with you on this one, when she'd been half joking. Though she does half expect you to latch on, Naoto.]
There's no rhyme or reason to it, seemingly. So simply: Why not assume we may lose more color, in addition to other things, as I said.
no subject
They want to see how we react to different things.
Removing color is already something they've done.
no subject
You do also realize I was half joking, right?
Anyway, isn't it also odd how none of the more permanent shifts have been particularly dangerous?
no subject
I'm not very good at that nuance over text.
I don't imagine they want to kill us. It would defeat the purpose of an experiment.
no subject
Really.
I didn't say lethal, I just said dangerous.
no subject
Yes, well dangerous can become lethal in an instant.
It's sort of why it's dangerous.
no subject
This just feels like the start of a very strange horror film.
no subject
It's not the start anymore, I don't think.

A serious theory I have is that we're supposed to remember our other lives in their entirety and this is how they intend to do that.
no subject
In fact, if my hypothesis is correct, what if that "reawakening" is the experiment? The point of the simulation, I mean.
no subject
You've seen what I can do and I'm sure I can do more. It comes more rapidly every month.
What will they do if we turn on them, is another question.
no subject
Bring people here, give them a false life, have them remember their past one.
A social experiment to see what we do.
no subject
I know I'd rather not give up what we have in either life. That would be too weird.
no subject
To them, we might be nothing more than a computer program.
Do you feel remorse when you delete a file?
no subject
But if they think that way, I'll make them think otherwise.
Program or not, if it's within my power, I will not go quietly and neither should you.
no subject
What about my attitude gives you any indication that I intend to "go quietly"?
no subject
It just felt better to type it than leave it unsaid, as text does not always convey meaning well, as you stated earlier.
Also, I had a memory of you, now.

Just relaxing, taking a bath. That's normal enough I think.
no subject
[Well that's a little awkward.]
I see I made the right choice in telling the others, then.
Had I not, memories like these would have just raised more questions.
no subject
And I suppose it is. But it's done now, so it should not be a worry.
I'm glad you trusted everyone, though. Even if Yosuke is an idiot.

I wasn't surprised by his reaction. I expected more like it, to be honest.
