Maurice was going to do this, but Maurice sucks so I sent him home before he could. Anyway, some of you may have noticed our new poll feature! We just don't have the time and resources to cater to all your "where is x item, what the fuck" complaints, so we had to streamline. The polls were the result of that! Coded them myself. I mean, Maurice did some of it, but I did most of it.

So basically we're democratically crowd-sourcing what we're going to bother to fix for you! You can send thank you notes to the building, HR doesn't mind. So far it seems like you all care about the color blue most, so we fixed it!

A little, anyway. I suggest a bracing walk through the woods if you particularly missed the color and don't feel like gazing deeply into a hobo's eyes.

As per the World Regains tracker, fruits and flowers that were once blue are once again blue. This includes the echo flowers in the Recollé woods! NPCs seem to be incapable of seeing this color still, however, and will not note any differences. The color does not seem capable of being transferred to anything else, either, and any attempts to do so will simply fade the color of the thing you were trying to use to do that. Furthermore, one thread of at least 10 comments from you from this post may be supplied for one untriggered memory by linking the thread and in explanation putting "June Freebie". This may only be claimed through the rest of June, and may not be claimed after the month ends.

[ Well, anyway. Yu will strike out for the store, messing with his phone's photo albums on the way to ensure they really do have all the cutest pictures of their cats up first before anything else. It's nothing to take lightly...!

He's all ready by the time he makes it. He'll pocket his phone, glancing around for his brother, wondering if he's already by the ice cream... ]

[ Souji is outraged. That text was so perfect and he probably texts Yu something like a :| or something while he waits outside the store. He kind of wanted to go in but it's probably frowned upon to press your face against the glass door of the ice cream section, so he just waits for Yu. ]

You can't just text that and not reply afterwards.

All you did was text me a line face, you know. What was I supposed to say?

[ Smirking slightly. He knows he won that one.

Then he'll clear his expression and clap his brother on the shoulder. ]

Are you ready for this, Souji?

[ Yu absolutely wins that and Souji just frowns but he sighs and places a hand over Yu's on his shoulder. ]

As ready as I'll ever be. Lead the way, Yu, to either sweet blue rockets or disappointing endings.

[ Yu will nod, determined and serious, and lead them to the convenience's store's ice cream section. The boxes themselves are still depressing, some of them; anything that used green or blue just seems kind of glum now. Yu will locate a box of the rocket popsicles, apprehensive that the picture on the box shows stripes of white, grey, and red. Still, that the box has no color doesn't mean the real thing will be the same...

This box he hands solemnly to Souji. ]

Just remember that no matter what happens, your friends and family love you.

[ Souji takes the box, frowning when he sees the dull grey colour where the blue should have been. He says nothing, staying silent, and nods, going up to pay for the box. There's a tense silence in the air in between being handed the box up and Souji paying, leading up until the two exit the store so they can finally be faced with the moment of truth. ]

[ Souji opens the box and takes out two bags of popsicles. Placing the box on the ground by his feet, he hands one bag to Yu. ]

On the count of three, let's open them and find out the truth.

[ Yu can have the pleasure of counting them down because Souji doesn't know if he can take this kind of pressure. ]

[ Yu will take the opaque little bag, feeling he knows what may lie within but knowing they need to see it for themselves. All he can hope is that his brother survives the shock... ]

Alright. Then on three, two, one...

[ He'll open the bag and pull out his popsicle.

Which has a gray stripe.

Alas for them all. ]

[ Souji pulls out the popiscle at the end of the countdown and when he sees that dreadful blue stripe... he dramatically falls to his a knee (why wasn't this kid in drama class). He bends down low and shakes his head, just holding the damned popsicle stick in his hand. ]

No... why...

[ Wow this is some splendid acting. It actually sounds like he's truly hurt. ]

Why is this happening to me, Yu? Tell me why...

[ It's a good thing he knows Souji as well as he does, or he might actually be kind of concerned. But they're twins, after all.

And he's the one who took drama.

His expression never once flickers away from grave seriousness. At most he picks up hints of concern and pity as he kneels down to place a hand on Souji's shoulder. ]

It's those Retrospec bastards, [ he grinds out, lacing his voice with bitterness and righteous fury. ] Don't worry, Souji. I'll make them pay for hurting you this way...!

[ Whatever skills Yu has, Souji has them too. Too bad that it's not the other way around and Yu messed up the investigation back home, hahahaha anyWAY ]

[ Souji shakes his head, still downward and the popsicle melting in his hands. ]

No, if you go after them, who knows what they might do to you. They've already turned our hair and eyes silver. What if they take away more colours in retaliation?

What if... [ He then looks up at Yu. ] ... they take away Cream-san and Kohi-san's colours to get back at us?

[ wow. rude.

Anyway, Yu manages to somehow turn a bit pale at what Souji says. How is he doing that? Why are they taking this so seriously?? Who knows. Acting! ]

No. We won't let them. We'll protect Cream-san and Kohi-san no matter what it takes. They won't win!

[ 8) ]

[ He shakes his head and uses his free hand to grip onto Yu's. ]

They're everywhere, Yu. How could we ever possibly protect them if we can't even escape from their grasps?
