Hello everyone,
I've got a question for everyone. This is something I've been thinking about for a few weeks now, and I'd like to get your opinions on it, as well as possibly some advice.
I know a lot of us have been having those wild hallucinomemories lately, and whoever came up with that word is brilliant. And I know a lot of us have been struggling with them because some of them are outright terrifying. What I want to know is if you saw someone that you knew in your hallucinomemories doing something that scared you, or made you afraid, would that affect how you view them here in Recolle? Is this who they were, who they are, or who they will be again, basically. I know that's a pretty weird question, but I'm not really sure how I feel and it got pretty real for me recently.
Any thoughts are appreciated, seriously.
Cheers,
Pen.

I'm not saying that it changes who you are now, but my concern is that might change in the future. This feels just like the beginning.

Actually, that much is entirely fair.

It also assumes that all of this is some sort of social experiment on Retrospec's part, which... While I wouldn't put it past them, I'm going to be deeply annoyed if that's the case.

And it does assume that. Though, it's not a hard leap of logic to make. Retrospec shows up, things start going haywire and disappearing, Retrospec makes an announcement teasing us, the offer no answers. Occam's Razor, you know.

They can control our situation but not how we choose to process it, at least as of what we've seen so far.

Why is that? An entire town can't be in on something. There's something there altering their perception, or the singing fruit would've gotten widespread news coverage.

Everything seemed perfectly normal, or at least not worth questioning, up until the app itself was received.

All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds, if you will.

Where we all had these happy, safe little lives. That's actually kind of nice.
I want to believe in that, sir. I really do.
