Hello everyone,

I've got a question for everyone. This is something I've been thinking about for a few weeks now, and I'd like to get your opinions on it, as well as possibly some advice.

I know a lot of us have been having those wild hallucinomemories lately, and whoever came up with that word is brilliant. And I know a lot of us have been struggling with them because some of them are outright terrifying. What I want to know is if you saw someone that you knew in your hallucinomemories doing something that scared you, or made you afraid, would that affect how you view them here in Recolle? Is this who they were, who they are, or who they will be again, basically. I know that's a pretty weird question, but I'm not really sure how I feel and it got pretty real for me recently.

Any thoughts are appreciated, seriously.

Cheers,

Pen.

I suppose that it has potential to, but assuming that it will seems a bit much for the time being. I'm not saying that you shouldn't be concerned about whatever it is you saw recently, but if we're receiving things in bits and pieces like this, I'd imagine that we'll have more time to process everything from a third-party perspective - we're less likely to react in the same way as we did before, simply because the circumstances are so far removed.

Actually, that much is entirely fair.

...In theory, though that would be obscenely hard to pull off in practice.

It also assumes that all of this is some sort of social experiment on Retrospec's part, which... While I wouldn't put it past them, I'm going to be deeply annoyed if that's the case.

Of course. Though I do have to question how difficult such a thing would be, yes, despite all that - as of yet, they've done nothing to completely revoke our agency, and assuming a social experiment, doing so would defeat the point.

They can control our situation but not how we choose to process it, at least as of what we've seen so far.

As someone who only received the app within the past two months, I can assure you those that don't have it aren't in on anything.

Everything seemed perfectly normal, or at least not worth questioning, up until the app itself was received.

That would make the most sense, yes, though I can't be certain which way it's going. I just know that everything seemed...more or less fine, and anything that was pointed out to be out of the ordinary wasn't anything to be concerned about.

All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds, if you will.
