Ah, Janet. It's amazing how exceptionally useful she seems in comparison to Jim; of course, that's not a terribly high bar to clear. Still, this "helpful" nature of hers could be something of a farce, just to get us all to cooperate. If that's the case, at least Jim is the less duplicitous option.

Or am I being pessimistic? In any case, the idea of being presented with a "little game" isn't always the most reassuring. More hoops to jump through.

Mostly I'm impressed at the subtle way this app coerces its recipient into using it, to begin with. As far as I can tell, there's no way of getting answers about it OTHER than by using it — and human beings ARE notoriously curious creatures.

I wouldn't say pessimistic, I'd say realistic. For all we know this is just Jim posing as Janet! But regardless of what exactly is going on with Jim and Janet and their announcement here, we do have SOMETHING to look forward to in the future.

I say... that you might be able to expect even /more/ changes for refusing to play the game. Perhaps they're petty like that.
