You should know the unnatural changes of the world also affect loved ones outside the city, who are oblivious as the non-Retrospec users here; you might also experience some physical changes or receive unwanted things in the mail. Usually at the start of the month, given others' accounts. Anyway... If people were being very insistent. (Very.) And refusing to take no for an answer, what type of birthday present would you ask for? P.S. Indecisiveness is unhelpful and not the point of the post, please refrain from posting so unless you have some idea.

Why not ask for money? Or maybe just say you're touched but that you really, really don't need anything?

I've tried the latter. The former would probably be regarded as too impersonal because being a teenager is some kind of imaginary landmark.

Sometimes. I think it usually comes from a place of caring, though. Unless they're being way too pushy about it.
