7/2 near ChataWelcome to all the unfortunate new users of Retrospec. You should know the unnatural changes of the world also affect loved ones outside the city, who are oblivious as the non-Retrospec users here; you might also experience some physical changes or receive unwanted things in the mail. Usually at the start of the month, given others' accounts. Anyway...
If people were being very insistent. (Very.) And refusing to take no for an answer, what type of birthday present would you ask for?
P.S. Indecisiveness is unhelpful and not the point of the post, please refrain from posting so unless you have some idea.

if i want something, i would buy it myself
so i suppose... this year i would wish for a birthday dinner
my present would be people bringing themselves

[ Normally he'd make a face at such a cheesy wish, but this guy was always so genuine. He'll let it slide. ]

Something specific would be good, like a particular book. The more specific you are the less likely you are to end up with something you don't want. Make sure it's easy to obtain and not too expensive, or they'll get you something else and you'll probably hate it.

What would you say are good genres that aren't academic ones.

[Yamato why are you like this.]
hm or some kitchen stuff I guess, it's surprisingly expensive [Granted, everything is expensive when you're a poor college student...]

You own a blade? That's impressive.
But I hear you on the kitchenware, I used to see my mother look longingly into that section. It really would be easier if she just spent money on herself.

in my case it'd be art supplies, but i don't know how things work out for you

It's not like I need anything else for my schooling right now, they'd raise a fuss about something so basic too.

i usually just tell them to give me money but that always feels kind of impersonal and theres not much to it visually
so i guess if i had to get SOMETHING maybe i'd ask for a book or a game, or clothes
but usually i let people surprise me

I don't actually disagree with that. Sweets are a good way to treat oneself.
